About us
Badlaav Social Reform Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit company registered in India. We hold a valid 12AB registration and 80G certificate enabling donors to claim tax deductions. Our registration and statutory documents are listed on the Financials page.
Use of this website
You may browse, share, and link to this site freely. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or its backend (Google Apps Script, Firebase, etc.).
- Scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of the site without our written permission.
- Submit false information through our forms (volunteer, contact, or donation enquiry).
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or files that violate Indian law.
- Use the site in any way that interferes with another person's use of it.
Donations
- Donations to Badlaav are voluntary and, once received, are generally non-refundable. If you donated by mistake, write to info@badlaav.org within 7 days with evidence and we will review the request.
- Donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to applicable conditions. Receipts with our 80G details will be issued by email.
- You are responsible for providing accurate name, address, and PAN where required for 80G receipt issuance.
- Foreign contributions are accepted only in accordance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and Rules, 2015 and must be made through the channels we specify.
Volunteer and contact submissions
When you apply to volunteer or send us a contact message, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is true and your own.
- The CV you upload (if any) does not contain anyone else's personal data without their consent.
- You are at least 18 years old, or have your parent or guardian's permission to apply.
Submission of a volunteer application does not create an offer, employment, or any binding relationship. We may or may not respond, and we are not obligated to onboard anyone who applies.
Intellectual property
All text, photographs, logos, illustrations, code, and design elements on this website are either owned by Badlaav or used with permission. You may share links and short excerpts with credit; you may not republish substantial content without our written permission.
"Badlaav", the Badlaav logo, and program names such as "Saksham", "CM Model", and "Swasthya Sakhi" are marks of Badlaav Social Reform Foundation.
Third-party links and embeds
Our site links to and embeds content from third parties — YouTube videos, Google Maps, Trustindex review widgets, news articles, and external CDN-hosted images. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those third parties. Visiting an external site is at your own risk.
Program disclaimers
We work hard to make our impact statistics, project descriptions, and beneficiary stories accurate. However:
- Statistics are reported on a best-effort basis and may be revised between annual reports.
- Program availability and locations can change without notice.

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, Badlaav is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Our total liability for any claim related to this website is capped at the amount you have donated to Badlaav in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Badlaav, its directors, employees, and volunteers harmless against any claim arising from your violation of these terms or any law, or from content you submit through the website.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our practices, programs, or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
